    Our office is located in Fort Worth, Texas. Our Adirondack chair kits however ship directly from the manufacturers, which saves you time and money.

    How Can I Place and Order?

    Ordering Online: Find a product you'd like to buy and click on the "add to cart" button. Follow the instructions on the order page. If you are ordering more than one product, use our add to cart feature! If there were any options, colors or upgrades that you missed, one of our custom service staff members will contact you either by email or phone. In-stock items are sent to fulfillment within 24-48 hours after we receive the order.

    Ordering by Email: If you want to place your order through email, send us a message to info@AdirondackChairsMarket.com and one of our staff members will get back to you quickly with a total price including tax and shipping.  Please include the product in mind, color, and any options or upgrades that you might require.  

    Does AdirondackChairsMarket.com Charge Sales Tax?

    We are a licensed business in the state of Texas. We are required to charge 6.25%-8.75% sales tax based on your zip code on any products shipped within the state. We don't charge state sales tax on orders shipped outside of Texas.

    Can you ship to an APO Address?

    At this time, we are unable to ship to APO addresses.  We apologize for the inconvenience.  

    Can you ship to a P.O. Box?

    At this time, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes due to the size of our products.

    When will I be contacted to confirm my order?

    If your item has options that weren't specified when ordering prior to shipping your order, a AdirondackChairsMarket.com representative will email you the order and lead time for delivery.  For all normal orders we will send you a confirmation once your order ships.

    When will I be contacted regarding the delivery?

    Immediately after your order has shipped, we will email you with your shipping information. For large orders including freight shipping orders and orders over 250 lbs, our shipping company may call you prior to delivery to coordinate a convenient delivery time for you.

    How do I check the status of my order?

    As soon as your order ships we will email with your shipping information and tracking number. This allows you to easily track the daily progress of your order from our warehouse to your door step. 

    Do you have a catalog?

    Our website works as our online catalog. We try to add products regularly to give you the best possible selection. It would be difficult to for us to keep a printed catalog current. If you are unable to find what you are looking for please call or email us at info@AdirondackChairsMarket.com to order.

    How do I know if an item is in stock?

    Instead of having a warehouse full of inventory and having only certain colors, sizes and makes in stock, we have partnered with the manufactures directly to have them ship your adirondack chair kits to you personally.  This means that as long as there isn't a problem on the manufactures side you can assume that all products and kits listed on our website are in stock and ready to ship.  Custom items take an additional 1-2 weeks to build and ship.  If your item isn't in stock for whatever reason, we'll contact you via phone or email to discuss alternatives.  If we can't find a happy alternative we'll happily refund 100% of your money.

    Warranty Questions?

    The great news is since we are an authorized dealer for all products we carry, you will receive full warranties for everything you buy. The even better news is since we deal directly with the manufacturer and have them ship directly to you, there are no middle mans to get in the way.  Please check the manufacturers website for their specific warranty terms and feel free to contact us if you need assistance filing a warranty claim with the manufacturer.

    What is Natural Weathering?

    Because of the inherent nature of western red cedar to withstand insect attack and the outdoor elements cedar does not require a finish to keep its structure over the years. Most customers prefer to allow their cedar furniture to "naturally age" outdoors without a stain or finish. Over time the colorful tones of the wood slowly weather to a handsome silver-grey and the grain of the wood will become slightly raised. Left completely natural this silver-gray color will eventually be highlighted by darker streaks formed from the reaction between the cedar resin and the hardware. If you don't prefer the dark, we suggest using a simple wood sealer like Thompson's Wood Sealer.

    Can I stain my unfinished chair?

    If you would like to preserve the colorful tones of the freshly sanded cedar any number of finishes can be used on cedar furniture. The types we have tried and recommend are good quality penetrating sealers and transparent or solid exterior stains. There is a wide variety of colors to choose from which makes it easy to match your existing decor. We recommend a single coat of a semi transparent stain with a UV inhibitor such as Sikkens Cetol 1 (natural), or Thompson's Stain to preserve the handsome look of your furniture. Every 3rd year you might re-apply a coat of stain to freshen the finish. Little or no sanding, preparation or primer is needed when you use a stain.

    Can I paint my unfinished chair?

    Paint will work fine but as on any exterior surface, over time will begin to flake and will eventually need scraping and refinishing. Stain, however, is "breathable" and will not trap moisture, therefore - no blistering, no peeling. Stain really is the best choice here, there are many colors to choose from in semi-transparent and solid finish.

    Should I be concerned about cracks in the wood?

    The slight cracking is called checking, a natural process which occurs as the wood dries. It is only on the surface and does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the wood.
